Hanging out

"A bird...." Aveira paused, thinking about the dream she had while in the tree. "I'd love to be able to fly as well...." She closed her eyes, not concentrating so much as just imagining what it would be like. She was so lost in her image, that her body shifted by itself, becoming a pheonix.

"Awesome!"
That was the only word
he could bring to his mouth as he stared with awe.

She let out an elated cry that penetrated to the very soul with it's beauty. She flew upward, circling a few times. A firey trail was left behind wherever she went. After a few minutes of flying, she landed and shifted back.
"That was the most amazing thing I've ever done! Maybe when I become more powerful I can become a roc or a griffon and I can take you flying!"

"I'd enjoy that.thank you,Aveira."
He said with a smile then moved in and kissed her,
still in awe of her peonix flames.
He passed that feeling on through his kiss
due to his lack of words.

She kissed him back, blushing a bit. She still wasn't used to having so much contact, though she was getting better.

"I love just being around you.
I dont care what it is we do together.
Just as long as you are with me."

She blushed more and hugged him tightly in answer. Stupid, stupid, stupid shyness. She thought to herself.

"Now how about we try more magic?"

"All right. What do you want to learn now?"

"How about...fire?"

Aveira frowned. "I will teach you, but promise to be careful. Fire is easiest to summon, but controlling it is another matter. It's safe while I'm here, but don't try to practice while no one's around." She turned away from him and made a sharp sweeping motion with her hand, setting a tree on fire. It burned hotly before she pushed her hands down harshly, causing the fire to die and go out almost at once. "Fire is strong. Command it with a stern mental voice. Don't expect something this big, though. Just because it's easy to summon doesn't mean it will obey you completely. It wil hold back until you gain its respect, though once you do it's impossible to lose."

Rin smiled.
"Dont worry Aveira.
I wont be alone.
I'll only practice when I'm with you.
Hopefully I can master atleast one of them.
I have to become stronger so I can be your knight.
I'll protect you,my love."

Aveira blushed and looked down, once again cursing her shyness.

^^' "So,how exactly do I do that?"
He faced the tree and sharply sweeped his hand.
"Like this?"

A few streaks of fire lit the grass up, going out quickly due to the still-wet grass. "Sharper, more commanding. Like anger." She flicked her wrist demandingly, setting a small bush on fire, before putting it out again.

He waved his hand demandingly with all the rage
he built yup over the years.

Three oak trees burst into flames, raging heatedly. Aveira quickly put them out, wincing at the heat. "Yes, like that. But less angry. Like I said, fire is hard to control. Try to find a balance. Be comanding and stern without being enraged."

"How exactly do I do that?How do I balance it out?"

"Try not to let your anger control you. Acknolage that you are angry, but try to stay calm. Be comanding and stoic, yet understanding. Like a leader." Aveira struggled to explain, trying to think about how she had learned.

"I think I got it this time."
Rin cast his arm to a tree to command the flames to arise.

The tree burned perfectly, only going out when Aveira unsummoned it. "Now try setting a single leaf on fire. It's harder because you have to aim and you have to lesson your emotions slightly to make it smaller." She made a flicking motion, igniting a single leaf.

"I'll try."
He aimed at a leaf and made a flicking motion.
Burn the leaf nothing else.He thought.

The leaf burned, leaving everything else unharmed, even when the fire touched it. Surprised, Aveira walked over to it and touched it, not burning herself at all. "Amazing. Not even I can do that!" she said. "I think you've mastered fire, Rin. Now try putting it out," she said excitedly.

"Yes!now to put it out!"^^
He swiped his hand over the flame in a swift commanding motion.
Disperse.He thought.

The flame was gone imediantly. Aveira ran back to Rin and hugged him. "You must have an affinity with fire! You're already better than I am and you've only just learned!"
